About ALPSiX

ALPSiX is the Internet Exchange Point (IXP) in Carinthia (Kärnten), owned by BIK and operated by DE-CIX. As a fully neutral and open platform, ALPSiX is available to any organization that operates its own ASN and wishes to connect.

By enabling direct traffic exchange between networks, ALPSiX improves regional connectivity in Carinthia and provides the foundation for a robust and high-performance digital infrastructure.

Through local peering, ALPSiX reduces latency while improving network resilience, routing efficiency, and the overall quality of Internet services for end users.
